This is a journey through struggle, sadness and sickness that becomes love for life.

Wayne Starks has been living on the streets for about 20 years, but after he contracted AIDS he decided to change his life.
He won a scholarship and started sculpting; in June 2008 one of his peaces was exhibited in the commerce city back in New York.

11 Dollars is how much he has a day from the New York State Benefit to improve the quality of his life and this is how he creates beauty.
